Spanning Sync Now that the Android phones are coming out, starting with the T-Mobile G1, I think it’s worth mentioning Spanning Sync again. As you may or may not know, the G1 automatically syncs with your Gmail contact list. Your messy Gmail contact list that’s filled with whatever rubbish it has automatically added over the years, with no option to sync it with your computer. So if you have a Mac and want to sync your Address Book contacts and iCal calendars to your Android phone, there’s no better choice than Spanning Sync, which lets you sync them to Gmail and Google Calendar, and from there they’ll be automatically synced to your Android phone. It’s MobileMe for Android.
Spanning Sync costs $25 per year, or $65 for a one-time payment, but you’ll get $5 off if you subscribe from this post or use this referral code: RTCTTT

Fennec alpha 1 An early developer preview release of Fennec, AKA the mobile version of Firefox, available for the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet and as a desktop version for Windows, OS X and Linux. I hope Mozilla keeps releasing these standalone versions after Mobile Firefox ships, I’m sure they’ll come in handy for testing.
